Tunisia: Riyad Ben Fadhil Case Update

The Tunis Court of First Instance has booked the case of Riyada Ben Fadl, coordinator of the Al-Qutub Party, along with more than 18 other defendants, due to suspicions related to acts of financial corruption and money laundering. These measures were taken after a session during which the demands for the defendants' release were discussed, and a future hearing was scheduled to examine the case. The state's dispute representative maintained his requests during the previous session, as the case was being processed and handed over to the court for further investigation.
