Houthis warn of broader escalation over US intervention
A Houthi official, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, threatened the United States with a quick and painful response if it intervenes in the conflict between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia. He warned of a comprehensive escalation of the situation. He confirmed that the response would target American interests in the region without prior warning, and cautioned those working at Saudi oil facilities and airports to stay away, as these sites have become legitimate targets for Yemen amid escalating tensions between the two sides.
