Actress Salma Blair detained after plane altercation
Reports circulated about the arrest of actress Salma Blair following an incident on a flight from Los Angeles to New York, where she was accused of injuring two flight attendants, kicking a police officer, and assaulting a nurse upon arrival at the hospital. Her representatives confirmed that her medical emergency was the cause of the alleged behavior, explaining that she suffers from multiple sclerosis and had not taken an adequate dose of her medication, leading to her losing control during the flight. The court set her bail at $20,000, with a hearing scheduled for January to continue the investigation into the incident.
