Riyadh Airport closure extended
Saudi authorities extended the closure of Riyadh International Airport until Saturday, following repeated attacks carried out by the Yemeni Houthi group allied with Iran. The attacks included a missile strike on the airport, resulting in 13 deaths and over 300 injuries, along with damage to parts of the airport facilities. The group announced that they targeted the airport with a precise missile and also carried out an attack on Khamis Mushait Airbase using a drone. Saudi Arabia has not issued an official confirmation yet, but the airport has remained closed since the latest attack on Saturday, which is considered one of the bloodiest assaults in the kingdom in a decade.
