Tunisian Bank Supports Small Farmers with 20M Dinars
The Tunisian Solidarity Bank has announced the allocation of 20 million dinars to benefit small-scale farmers in the provinces of Gabes, Tozeur, Kébili, and Gafsa. The funds aim to finance the collection and storage of dates and the maintenance of oases during the 2026-2027 season. These facilitative loans are offered without collateral and are disbursed through simplified procedures, with the goal of supporting farmers in securing the date season and improving oasis management. The initiative seeks to ease farmers’ access to financing and enhance their ability to effectively utilize their harvests.
