Saudi Arabia strikes Yemeni capital
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched an attack on the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, following warnings from the coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia. The attack targeted the Al-Sabahiya oil station on the outskirts of Sana'a, despite the Yemeni Oil Company confirming that the strike did not affect oil reserves. The Houthis responded with a promise of a "severe and painful" retaliatory response, including threats to target Saudi facilities such as Aramco and the Riyadh oil refinery. This escalation occurs within the ongoing war between the two sides in Yemen, which has included repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia, including a missile strike on Riyadh Airport that resulted in 13 deaths.
