Gaza Girl Maryam Ghanem Survives but Loses Family
Little girl Maryam Ghanem narrowly escaped certain death after being targeted in an Israeli bombing in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza. Her apartment was turned into a massive fire, resulting in the death of her mother and the disappearance of her father since the beginning of the war. She was rescued after a race against time by young men who managed to pull her out of the flames. However, she sustained severe burns and serious injuries, highlighting the suffering of children in the sector due to ongoing war and the bombing of homes. Such attacks lead to the destruction of families and the loss of loved ones, leaving children facing an uncertain future that hinders their development. The primary need now is to provide medical treatment and care for these children. This situation serves as a reminder that saving children's lives goes beyond simply pulling them from the brink of death—it also requires psychological and medical support to cope with the loss of their families.
