Egyptian army rehabilitates Mubarak during October events
During Egypt's celebrations of the October Victory anniversary, a documentary film was screened highlighting the role of former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak in the war. The film showcased his leadership of the Air Force during the 1973 war and his association with the first airstrike. Mubarak's rare appearance came after his departure from power in 2011 and was symbolic within an official military event attended by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The aim was to reaffirm his historical role in the war and to document the heroism of the Egyptian armed forces.
