FIFA punishment impacts club calculation
The International Federation of Football (FIFA) has imposed a ban on the Club Sportive Bizerte, preventing it from making any signings during three transfer windows due to outstanding debts amounting to approximately $80,000 owed to CAS Copa. These debts pertain to financial dues for player Abdou Saidi and late payment fines. This punishment poses a significant challenge for the club’s management in strengthening the team’s roster during upcoming transfer periods. Therefore, settling the financial issue is essential to reduce the penalty and allow the club to resume making signings. All eyes are now on the management’s upcoming steps to settle the dues and the possibility of lifting the sanctions in accordance with FIFA’s procedures.
