The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the execution of a man and a woman who were convicted of engaging in adultery inside a mosque in Mecca. The accused were arrested, and the sentence was carried out in accordance with Islamic law after being upheld by the court. This measure aims to preserve the security of mosques and the sanctity of holy places, along with a warning of the penalties for anyone who violates the sanctity of mosques or breaches moral boundaries.
