Inheritance of artistic talent in Tunisia
The article sheds light on the phenomenon of art inheritance in Tunisia, where the presence of children of artists in the artistic scene is increasing alarmingly. Some accuse them of securing their opportunities based on their connections and acquaintances rather than talent. The article points out that many artist's children impose themselves on the stage and artistic performances, despite limited abilities, and are viewed as having benefitted from their parents' influence. The phenomenon is transferring from Egypt to Tunisia and is seen as an obstacle for genuine creators, as doors are closed to those lacking connections. They are regarded as mere intermediaries for art rather than true artists, raising questions about the impact of inheritance and favoritism on the quality and future of art in the country.
