Tunisia tests drone defenses at African Lion 2027
The "African Lion 2027" exercises, hosted by Tunisia, are preparing to test small drone countermeasures as part of a military technological program developed by the U.S. military in collaboration with Morocco. The goal is to evaluate advanced systems for detection, destruction, and disruption. These tests are part of the preparations for the next edition of the exercises, which are considered the largest multinational military drills in Africa. However, the American military statement did not specify whether the exercises would be held in Tunisia or limited to Morocco or other participating countries, nor did it specify any direct involvement of Tunisian units.
