Brussels Tennis: Aziz Doğaz Out
Tunisian player Aziz Dougaz, ranked 430th in the world, failed to reach the main draw of the Brussels tennis tournament after losing in the final qualifying round to American Nishesh Basavareddy, who is ranked 139th globally, in straight sets (4-6, 5-7). This match was part of a 250-point category tournament held in a closed format, with prize money of approximately 724,000 euros. Dougaz had previously advanced to the final qualifying round after defeating German Tom Gientzsch. These results are significant in terms of the player's chances of qualifying for the main draw, as he was unable to achieve his goal in this edition of the tournament.
