Austrian flight from Tel Aviv makes emergency landing in Sofia
An Austrian Airlines plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Sofia during its flight from Tel Aviv to Vienna after receiving a security alert about a bomb on board. The aircraft was rerouted, and thorough security checks were carried out to ensure safety, amid escalating security threats against flights to and from Israel, as airlines have received false reports of bombs on two previous flights. Authorities continue their investigation to determine the source of the threat and its nature, and to take appropriate legal measures.
