Indian ambassador visits Jendouba in northwest investment push
The article focuses on the efforts of the Northwest Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote the region's openness to foreign investments, especially following the visit of India's ambassador to Tunisia to the area. The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation and attracting Indian projects, with particular emphasis on a project by the Indian company "Varun Beverages" proposing to establish a company in Tunisia with a capital of nearly 9 million dinars. The company would operate in the production and distribution of beverages and dairy products. The project's orientation toward the northwest depends on the development of communications and the available facilitation measures, highlighting the importance of providing a suitable environment for industrial investment. Such initiatives aim to support local development and create new job opportunities in the governorates of Jendouba, Beja, Kairouan, and Siliana.
