Russia strikes Ukraine cargo ship and power plant
Russia carried out an airstrike on a warehouse complex in the city of Poltava, Ukraine, which was used to store long- and medium-range drones. Additionally, it targeted a cargo ship transporting weapons to Ukraine on its way to the port of Odessa, a substation for the electric power grid, and logistical centers in Kyiv. These strikes come amid a Russian escalation ahead of the US envoy's meeting with Russian President Putin. US officials described talks with Ukraine as positive, and the American envoy plans to meet with Russian officials later.
