Al-Ettihad Aiming to Extend Success Against Libyan Teams
Espering Tunisian Espérance Sportive de Tunis aims to maintain its positive record against Libyan clubs in continental matches. The team has not suffered any defeat in 8 home matches against Libyan teams, achieving 6 victories and 2 draws. They are hosting the Libyan team Suwaihli in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League at the Hammadi Agreibi Stadium in Rades, after losing the first leg 1-0. This puts them in a position where they must win or at least draw to ensure progression in the competition. Espérance is seeking to capitalize on the home advantage and the support of their fans to compensate for the defeat in the first leg and secure their spot in the next round. Despite the tough challenge of needing a positive result in the match, they remain determined to move forward.
