National Tunisian Book Fair winners announced
The article focused on announcing the results of the awards ceremony at the fifth edition of the Tunisian National Book Fair, which was announced at the opening ceremony and continued its activities until November 1, 2026. In the poetry category, the winners were equally shared by Muhammad Al-Hadi Al-Jaziri for his collection "Maybe Waiting a Little Was Better" and Iman Dawood for her collection "Murmurs of an Euphoric Heart." The Novel Award went to Al-Azhar Al-Sahrawi for his novel "Honey of the World," while Yasmine Khadoma received the Short Story Award for her collection "Tracks of Iron Inside Me." The Award for Children's Thoughtful Studies was granted to Nujwa Al-Qadri for her research on children's narratives. The prizes, each valued at 10 dinars, were awarded to the winners, along with comments on the texts to help develop writing and poetry skills, as well as an assessment of the quality of the participating works—particularly noting weaknesses in some narrative elements in the novels and the story of the servant of human suffering—and offering recommendations for improving character development and ensuring neutrality in language classification.
