Cairo International Stadium’s hosting of the match between Egypt’s Zamalek and Tunisia’s Club Africain, scheduled for November 28 to open the African Champions League group stage, is in jeopardy because the winter-grass planting schedule conflicts with the match date. Zamalek has asked for the work to be postponed until after the match, while stadium officials have informed the Minister of Youth and Sports that changing the date agreed with the contractor would be difficult. The final decision now rests with the minister.
