Cairo Stadium’s hosting of the match between Egypt’s Zamalek and Club Africain in the opening round of the CAF Champions League group stage could be in jeopardy. The match, scheduled for November 28, clashes with work to plant the winter grass. Stadium officials have submitted a report to Youth and Sports Minister Gohar Nabil explaining that it would be difficult to postpone the work, while Zamalek’s request awaits the minister’s final decision.
