Manouba olive harvest begins
The olive harvesting and processing season in Manouba Governorate will begin on Monday, November 2. Regional Governor Mahmoud Shuaib has urged farmers and olive mill owners to preserve the quality of the crop during harvesting, transport, pressing and storage. The governorate has more than one million olive trees across 14,124 hectares and 18 olive mills, including four organic mills. Direct sales from producers to consumers account for 40% of the market.
