Preparations are continuing in Sfax to host the match between Tunisia and Libya on 13 November at Taïeb Mhiri Stadium, as part of the third round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. A working session at Sfax Municipality stressed the need to complete improvements to the area around the stadium, its lighting and cleanliness, and to coordinate the reception of delegations at Sfax–Thyna Airport and the movement of fans. The match will mark the Tunisian national team’s first international fixture at the stadium in more than 30 years, following its approval by the Confederation of African Football as a Category 3 venue.
