A large snake was spotted in an olive grove in the Al-Quraybis area, near Al-Maratihiya, in the Zarzis delegation of Medenine Governorate. Biodiversity expert Reda Al-Aouni said the snake belongs to the cobra family and is about two metres long. He explained that it lives in its natural habitat in the agricultural area, hibernates in winter, and stays away during the olive harvest season.
