Zelensky visits Berlin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Berlin on Tuesday for an unannounced visit for security reasons. He is meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to coordinate efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses and support its damaged energy supplies, as well as to discuss upcoming talks with Russia. Ukraine and Russia are due to meet next week in Abu Dhabi, with U.S. mediation, to discuss ways to end the war, which has been going on for nearly five years.
