The provisional committee of Étoile Sportive du Sahel announced the cancellation of the extraordinary general meeting scheduled for Saturday, 7 November 2026, following a first-instance ruling issued on 4 November that halted its proceedings. The meeting was intended to discuss and approve amendments to certain provisions of the club’s statutes. The committee said the amendments were aimed at establishing effective oversight and governance mechanisms to curb debt, and that it was examining the legal implications of the ruling to protect the club’s interests and stability.
