Sfax will host the “Blue Innov” hackathon on November 6 and 7, 2026, bringing together young people, students, researchers, developers, and entrepreneurs to devise solutions that support the blue economy and the sustainable use of marine and coastal resources. The event is organized by the Generations in Dialogue Association in partnership with the “Shine n’Mine” program and the Digital Research Center, with support from the EU-funded “Greenov’i” project. Participants will explore ways to add value to fisheries, protect marine ecosystems, recycle waste, promote ecotourism, and harness digital technology. They will then present their projects to a judging panel, which will select initiatives that may receive support and mentoring.
