The General Federation of Secondary Education called on teachers to submit grades as usual and boycott the new administrative and digital tasks on the “School Life” platform, including recording absences. It said these tasks imposed additional duties by force and involved testing a system that was not ready. It also opposed filling vacancies with overtime instead of hiring new staff. The federation called on its union structures to prepare for industrial action and demanded implementation of the May 23, 2023 agreement and protection of the rights of teachers and students.
