Sharjah Works Launches 83M Dirham Sewage Project
The Department of Public Works in Sharjah has announced the implementation of a sewage project valued at over 83 million dirhams in the Al Mwaffaja and Al Yash areas. The project aims to serve more than 1,000 housing units and vital facilities. It includes the installation of 29,000 meters of main sewage lines and 15,000 meters of secondary lines, in addition to the construction of two pumping stations to improve the network's efficiency. The current progress rate stands at 35%, with completion expected by the beginning of the second quarter of 2027, in order to strengthen the infrastructure and serve residents and facilities in the two regions.
