Dubai offers 12-second click travel
Dubai Tourism Authority has launched the "Click & Travel" service, the first of its kind in the world, which allows passport officers to use mobile phones to complete entry and exit procedures at Dubai airports during peak times and emergencies. This enhances traffic flow and responsiveness. The service relies on biometric verification technologies and up-to-date information systems, enabling transactions to be completed in approximately 12 seconds. Since its pilot launch in May through the end of August 2026, more than 31,373 transactions have been processed.
