Sharjah Institute Honors 85 Quran Memorizers
The Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah celebrates, during the third edition of the Hafiz al-Qur'an Award in 2025, 85 of its students who have completed memorization and meet the award's criteria. This celebration took place at the Holy Quran Complex. It reflects the Foundation’s commitment to promoting Quran memorization, encouraging students to achieve excellence, and reinforcing the Emirate of Sharjah’s dedication to spreading Quranic education. Over 36,000 students have studied in its classes, and last year alone, 329 memorizers received memorization certificates. The total number of Quran parts memorized exceeded 45,000. The event highlights the vital role of family and teachers in the memorization journey and underscores the Foundation’s pioneering efforts in linking the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through a continuous chain of transmission.
