Rain prayer scheduled in mosques tomorrow
In the UAE, following the directives of the Head of State, the rain prayer was performed today half an hour before Friday prayers in all mosques across the country, seeking rainfall. This prayer is a confirmed Sunnah performed when rain is delayed and needed, comprising two rak'ahs without adhan or iqama, followed by two sermons during which supplication and seeking forgiveness are frequently made. The imam expresses this through prayer, and people, including children, participate in beseeching Allah for rain, reflecting the importance of this ritual in seeking mercy and blessings from God.
