Islamic Affairs Performs Rain Prayer in Mosques
Today, Friday, worshippers in the United Arab Emirates performed the prayer for rain, initiated by the head of state, as an expression of seeking rainfall and in response to the prophetic tradition, with a large turnout from all segments of society. The preachers called for abundant supplication and charity, while Muslims humble themselves to God Almighty, asking for the doors of heaven to be opened, for rain to fall, and for the continued blessings of security and stability, to support the nation’s future and development. This comes as part of efforts to strengthen faith-based values and reinforce the spirit of unity within Emirati society.
