U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that the United States is committed to the security of its Gulf allies and stated that it will consider other options if a genuine agreement with Iran is not reached, aiming to protect the region from Iranian interventions and support for Hezbollah in Lebanon. Iran responded to the remarks, considering that peace in West Asia requires an end to American interventions and Israeli occupation, and stressed that American statements will not deceive anyone. Additionally, Rubio discussed efforts to secure the Strait of Hormuz with Gulf officials, while Iranians underscored that the solution to the crisis requires an end to foreign interventions.
