The United Arab Emirates announced the signing of a concession agreement to develop the gas cap of the Bab field with ADNOC and its international partners, aiming to increase production to 1.5 billion cubic feet of gas per day. This amount represents approximately 15% of ADNOC’s gas processing capacity. The project is the largest of its kind in the world and enhances the UAE’s position as a global investment center in the energy sector. It also supports achieving self-sufficiency in gas and diversifying the country's national energy sources.
