The article confirmed that Mustafa Abdul Raouf, known as Zico, led the Egypt national team to top Group D at the 2026 World Cup after scoring a crucial goal in the 3-1 victory over New Zealand, achieving a unique milestone as the first Egyptian player to score and assist in a single match at the tournament. His inclusion in the team came after a surprise call-up from coach Hossam Hassan, despite being on summer vacation. His name has been associated with the legendary Brazilian Zico, both in inspiration by his name and nickname. His career, which began at a young age, and personal challenges such as the passing of his father, have motivated him to succeed in football. Zico has become one of the team's stars, contributed to winning the Egypt Cup, and is eager to accomplish more in the 2026 World Cup.
