The Moroccan government has decided to revert to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) at the end of summer, canceling the daylight saving time that had been adopted in recent years. This decision comes in response to citizens' demands and civil society’s reactions, aiming to improve alignment with the needs of the population and reduce the social and health difficulties caused by previous adjustments, especially for schools and daily routines. The change will be implemented after the summer season, making GMT the permanent official time in Morocco.
