EU prolongs Russia sanctions to 2027

The European Union Council announced the extension of economic sanctions against Russia until July 31, 2027, in response to the Ukraine conflict. The measures include restrictions on trade, finance, energy, and the import of Russian oil, along with sanctions on Russian banks and media outlets. Additionally, G7 leaders called for increased pressure on the Russian energy sector, and the United Kingdom confirmed the expansion of the sanctions list by adding 70 entities and individuals.
