Neftati: No Excuses, Sorry
The Tunisian national team player, Muaaz Nefati, issued an apology to the fans after the Carthage Eagles were eliminated from the 2026 World Cup, following a 3-1 loss to Holland in the final group stage match. The Dutch team scored their goals through an own goal by Elias Selsiri, and two goals from Bryan Brobbey and Jan Paul Van Hecke. Tunisia's only goal was scored by Hazem Al-Mustouri. The Tunisian team failed to earn a single point in the three matches. Nefati stated that the players are responsible for the results but did not blame the coach's changes.
