Saddam Hussein's daughter on Ashura and Imam Hussain
The article focused on commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) on the Day of Ashura. Raghd, the daughter of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, expressed the significance of this remembrance and its symbolism in confronting injustice, considering it a symbol of truth. It is worth noting that Shia Muslims observe Ashura through symbolic acts such as listening to mourning chants and beating their chests, while Sunni Muslims fast on this day in remembrance of Prophet Moses's salvation from Pharaoh.
