Binance withdraws from Europe amid licensing issues
Cryptocurrency trading platform Binance has announced that it will cease providing its services to customers in the European Union starting next week, due to not securing the required license to operate within the bloc before the deadline of July 1. Its application for a unified license across the EU was rejected, prompting it to consider applying for a license in France, even though approval might come after the deadline. The company has sent messages to its customers in some European countries explaining how to withdraw their funds, while continuing its efforts to comply with new regulations focused on consumer protection and the regulation of the cryptocurrency market.
