Israel extends Yellow Line in Lebanon
The Israeli escalation in southern Lebanon has entered a new phase, as Tel Aviv informed the Monitoring Committee of the expansion of the "Yellow Line" to include the towns of Brarashit, Al-Mansouri, and Majdel Zoun, despite ongoing airstrikes and infiltrations, even though a ceasefire is in effect. The Israeli army confirmed the death of seven Hezbollah fighters and continued broadening military operations, while Hezbollah reaffirmed its rejection of any normalization with Israel and stated that any settlement is contingent upon the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon. These developments come amid ongoing negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, with limited Israeli field movements aimed at exerting pressure on the ground within the negotiation phase.
