Mbappé’s Unusual Request to the Referee

France's national team defeated Norway 4-1 in the 2026 World Cup, during the third round of the group stage. Ousmane Dembélé scored two goals and provided two assists for Mbappé, who played until the 87th minute and requested that the captain's armband be given to his teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni before leaving the field. France has advanced to the Round of 32 and will face one of the best third-placed teams that qualified.
