The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Bakhshi, criticized the Gulf Cooperation Council countries following a joint statement with the United States. He pointed out that Iran prioritizes regional security and considers the military activities of Gulf states—especially arms purchases and incursions into neighboring territories—as threatening actions to stability. He also condemned the use of their territories against Iran and military attacks on other regions, urging these countries to reconsider their positions and hold accountable those entities supported by Washington and Israel. He emphasized that Iran's military capabilities are essential for defending the Iranian people and maintaining regional peace, asserting that Iran's security is non-negotiable and cannot be subject to external conditions.
