The Syrian Ministry of Interior revealed details of the theft of actress Mona Wasef's house in Damascus last March. The suspect and his wife stole over $232,000 and gold jewelry using a key he found in a flowerpot. The suspect admitted to purchasing three properties and a car with the stolen money, while his wife tried to erase the evidence. His identity was determined through cigarette butts he left behind in the house.
