Richard Hughes and Simon Francis join Al Hilal
It is expected that Liverpool's sporting director, Richard Hughes, will join Al Hilal Saudi Club to work within the recruitment management team after his contract with the English club ends during the upcoming summer transfer window. Despite his contract extending until June 2027, he is currently focused on the transfer market and supporting the new coach. His departure is anticipated to be announced in September. Hughes is working with Al Hilal to finalize the transfer, and it’s worth noting that he has a long-standing relationship with Simon Francis, who is the head coach of Al Hilal.
