Digital Egypt Gateway: Checking for Suspended Cards
The Digital Egypt Portal allows citizens to perform an initial inquiry about the status of suspended subsidized food cards. These suspensions are temporary and do not mean that support has been permanently withdrawn. Cardholders are required to update their information and submit the necessary documents to the supply offices to resume receiving support after correcting the data or removing the reason for suspension, which may be due to violations or economic indicators such as owning vehicles or engaging in commercial activities. The ministry indicates that reactivating the card is linked to reviewing the case and meeting the required conditions, aiming to ensure that families receive support fairly.
