Israelis call for Netanyahu's resignation on 100th day after attack
Israeli protests on the anniversary of the thousandth day since the October 7, 2023 attack demand the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the formation of an official investigation committee. The protests follow the death and injury of hundreds of people in the attack carried out by Hamas on Israeli sites. The events concentrated on holding the government responsible for security and political failures, with calls for the prosecution of officials and an end to the recurrence of violence. This took place alongside reminders by the Israeli community of the victims and the commemorative nature of the anniversary, amid widespread criticism of the government’s performance over the past year.
