The Egyptian Dar al-Ifta announced that visiting museums that contain statues, which reflect the civilization of peoples and are presented for educational or entertainment purposes, is permissible in Islam. This is provided that the statues are not intended for worship or resembling the creation of Allah. They added that this aligns with the traditions of Islamic scholars and does not contradict religious teachings, as long as these conditions are met, thus facilitating the establishment and visitation of cultural museums.
