The case of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil's Deputy Minister, Adnan Jameeli, involves the seizure of funds and assets valued at more than 250 billion Iraqi dinars (approximately $191 million), along with various properties and holdings. Iraqi authorities continue their efforts to pursue those involved, with reports indicating that over three million dollars and 750 million dinars were recovered from the residence of one of the suspects in Salahuddin. Investigations are ongoing, and their assets remain under seizure. Despite government campaigns against corruption, doubts persist regarding the true intentions of some political leaders to sustain these efforts, as there is coordination between the judiciary and the government to pursue the implicated individuals without targeting specific political figures.
