The Council called for an immediate halt to hostilities and facilitated access for humanitarian aid, warning of the potential for widespread atrocities, including sexual violence, and emphasizing the need to hold perpetrators accountable for abuses. It also underscored the importance of ending the conflict through a political solution and independent investigations and accountability measures.
